I am 100% a Mom. I had my very 1st play date at another Mom's house. :)
We had a great time. There were a few other Mom's that came over with their kids and we just sat around, had a little lunch, chatted, and laughed alot. It was sooooo nice! Very good for my soul. I miss my girls from Michigan so much, just having a girlfriend to hang out with is priceless so this was a really good day for me!

World changing event for you! If it weren't for the women I met when Emily was in Nursery school, I would have no problem moving away from here. BUT... Kim, Genevieve, Linda, Laura, Stephanie, Helen... and many, many more have turned into my girls. When shit hits the fan around here, I KNOW I can count on any one of them, and they can count on me.
Kim and Genevieve I met when Emily was 3. She's now 8 1/2. We've done scrapbooking weekends together, the kids have sleepovers regularly. We ARE the Desperate Housewives.
Congratulations... I hope that these new friendships last you for years to come.
