This is a little late in coming but oh well! Last Friday all of the office people at Karl's work (Hopewell Nursery) threw a small shower for him. I had a doctor's appt that morning so I missed most of it but was able to arrive for the last few minutes.
They were so great. They got us such great gifts and so many! They got us the pack-n-play that we wanted, the humidifier, a really cute clothes hamper, and all kinds of little items that we may need ~ burp clothes, wash clothes, onsies, a newborn emergency kit, etc. It was so nice of them. I guess Mr. Ench (owner) offered to put in money for all the food and they said no. Everyone brought a dish and they had a really cute cake as well. I guess when Karl walked in he asked whose birthday they were celebrating and one of the girls said Max...Karl said that he thought to himself "who the hell is Max". Gotta love my husband! But then it finally sunk in and he said that he was speechless!! What a great surprise!!!
