Life Changing...

This past week I had the absolute pleasure of traveling to Dallas, Texas for the 2008 Mary Kay Seminar. It was a week filled with training, motivational speakers, new product presentations, etc. All the things you would expect for an end of year event. But I have to say that I received so much more than that!
I truly was moved by this past week. And when I say it was life changing I truly mean that 100%! I have never felt so inspired, so motivated, so ready to jump in with both feet than I do at this particular moment. It was a tiring week, non-stop week but SOOOOOOO worth it!

I truly feel that many times woman have the unfortunate stereotype of being catty, and I have to say that many times we woman can live up to that but this week was amazing. Every single woman that I came in contact with was happy, passionate about what they were doing, friendly, Godly, truly living by The Golden Rule. Which happens to be what Mary Kay built this company on. I have never felt so good about myself - I have never felt so alive, so ready to face the day and be happy about it. I have come home with a renewed sense of self, a new feeling of hope in my heart and a smile on my face that is truly from ear to ear!

Thank you to God for allowing me to have this amazing opportunity...
Thank you to all the beautiful girls in my unit that I spent the week with...Audrey, Lauren, Jeri, Cathy, Jocelyn, Stephanie, Beth, Jessica, and Carol....I am so blessed that I was able to share this week with you all!
Thank you to Kristin for being the coolest and most fun roommate a girl could have! Can't wait to see you again soon...
And last but certainly not least Thank you Mary Kay...thank you for giving woman the most amazing chance to enrich not only their own lives but to woman around the world!
Here I am standing in front of my future vehicle...
Here are Jocelyn, myself, and Cathy standing on the red-carpet in front of headquarters.
Here is (L to R) Cathy, Jocelyn, and myself standing in front of Mary Kay's actual office. They still have her office located in their head quarter's.
Here I am posing by myself in front of Mary Kay's Office...
This banner was hanging up inside the manufacturing plant...I just it was very cool to have this up and in front of all the workers. I would like to add that all the workers had badges on for this amount of time with the company...the shortest amount of years I saw was 8!
Here I am at the end of the tour, as you can see I was tired! My feet were ready to kill me! But it was worth it...
Here is a picture of the Red Jacket that I will earn once I have three team members! I have one now (love you Paula!) so I am very close to my goal, I plan on earning it by September 13th! The day before the anniversary of when Mary Kay started the company!
Here are myself, Lauren, and Jocelyn on the award night for our National Unit...so much fun! Lauren received an award but the picture did not turn out very good, but I am still sooo proud of her!
Here is Beth, Jeri, and Cathy....again for our National Unit Awards. Jeri did get to walk across the Main Seminar for her Court of Sales. She received an amazing topaz & Citrine ring. Truly gorgeous!
Here is my gorgeous Director Audrey...she was receiving an award for Court of Sales (on the big stage). She received a plaque, jewelry, a top director trip, and a cash bonus!
Here are a couple of pics of all the girls...(L to R); Audrey, Jeri, Beth, Jocelyn, Carol, Lauren....
And Stephanie and Jessica...

That picture of you on the floor reminds me of a certain episode from high school. Actually a couple different episodes from high school!

Glad you had fun.

What a wonderful opportunity you have been given. I am so glad you posted this. People often look down on these types of businesses, but they don't see the real opportunity that is being offered to them.

I now have a consultant under me too. With that, yesterday I received the most awesome thing from Tastefully Simple. It is a zippered folder that holds a bunch of different business tools. I feel so appreciated, and so empowered by that simple little gift.

I too am so grateful for this wonderful ride I am on.

Cheers to you.
